An Interactive Multimedia Course designed to educate students about international business and trade.

The vision for the globalMARKETS™ course and the World Trade Career Pathway is to provide a curriculum that teaches students to become more globally minded in order to actualize their career goals and to achieve wealth in our competitive world.

There are ten units and 40 lesson plans that not only teach students how to understand different cultures and ways of doing business internationally, but also highlight the many jobs available in international trade. Our goal is so that the students may see a light at the end of the tunnel, giving them a reason and a passion to stay in school. We have implemented this program in about 20 schools statewide and continue to see growing interest in expanding the course.  As the world's economy continues to flatten, we will continue to see new schools accept this challenge of teaching global citizenship and business reality. These teachers will change lives for South Carolina's future international business people and entrepreneurs.

Goals

How Does It Work

• On site classes as part of the regular school curriculum
• Distance learning with a school-based instructor
• Independent study with a web-based instructor that can be delivered to small and rural schools as well as to home schoolers
