Dominique
Green was born in Fayettevile, North Carolina, born to army soldier and
his wife. Dominique spent the first four years of her life in
Germany. After returning to the States, Dominique was enrolled in
Angel Oak Elementary. After Angel Oak, Dominique was a student at Haut
Gap Middle School, where she excelled academically. Dominique became a
member of various clubs, including the Beta Club for those students
with expectational academic standing. After leaving middle school,
Dominique decided to go to Gordon H. Garrett Academy of Technology, a
local magnet high school. Dominique continued to excel in academics, becoming
a member of the National Honor Society and the National Vocational
Technical Honor Society. At Garrett, Dominique concentrated on
Culinary Arts, which she still enjoys today. Dominique graduated in
the top five percent of her graduating class and became a Charleston
County Board Scholar, an honor given to students who received a 95 or
higher grade average. After graduating high school, Dominique took a
semester off before enrolling in the College of Charleston. At the
College of Charleston, Dominique double majored in Economics and
International Business. She also speaks French. Dominique Green
graduated from the College of Charleston in December 2007, being the
first in her family to do so. After a short break from school,
Dominique plans to enroll in graduate school to receive an
International Master of Business Administration and travel the world.

the Charleston-Caribbean Leadership Summit

South Carolina
and Caribbean business leaders will gather April 23-25, 2008 to discuss
and explore opportunities for increased economic ties between South
Carolina and the Caribbean nations. Business interest matching
opportunities will be a key highlight of the conference, The main goal
of the conference is the facilitation of individual business
relationships which can result in improved and increased business ties
between South Carolina businesses and Caribbean businesses.
The conference will be held at the Charleston Harbor

US China Trade and Tourism Forum 2008

Dear World Trade Center Members and
Friends,
We would like
to extend an invitation to the US China Trade and Tourism Forum 2008
taking place in Atlanta, Georgia in June 2008.
The purpose of
this event is to provide a platform form for government agencies from
both the United States(Georgia) and China to promote the US tourism
market to Chinese tour groups and discuss the issues related to the
promotion and marketing of the US market.
A moderated
discussion forum will focus on the insight into the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) between the Georgia and Chinese Officials signed in
December of 2007, as well as on the tourism market in Georgia and other
Southeastern states, the marketing efforts of the state governments and
industries, visa issues, and guiding tips for US tour operators.
The World Trade
Center Atlanta China Committee, Global Atlanta and China Professional
Tours are the organizers of this event. Attendees from the following
sectors are welcome: hospitality industry, travel industries, travel
destinations and economic development authorities. This event will be
very beneficial to any state or city interested in increasing business
interaction with the booming Chinese and business market.
